Safeguarding the wolf with WWF
At Salone del Mobile, the annual international reference event for the furnishing and design sector, WWF in its Milan office wanted to be the bearer of a message: attract the public opinion’s interest on the extinction of the wolf in its natural habitat. The need is, therefore, to tell a story and convey the message in a few minutes so that as many people as possible can receive it. In this case, virtual reality is a tool for storytelling and to spread a message in an impactful and engaging way.
A setting, created in computer graphics, tells the story of a pack of wolves surrounded by a lush habitat put at risk by human intervention as we witness their gradual disappearance. A new hope intervenes at the end to look at the future with renovated optimism.
